Unbelievable as it sounds, 3D chipmaker nVidia has announced their new Chipset.
This chip will support AMD processors.

What's so good about this chip is that it has great features!

Each memory bank will have it's own memory controller, which means huge improvements in performance (less latency), and means you can have different memory sizes as well as memory types!

Also improved is processor-chipset speeds.

There is Onboard Display. Your probably saying forget about it. But, this chip come with a graphics chip equivalent to a GeForce 2 MX!! "Five to 10 times the graphics performance of any other integrated PC graphics accelerator".

There's also Onboard Sound. "Multiple, high-performance DSP audio engine for ear shattering, real-time 3D audio and, for the first time, real-time encoded Dolby™ Digital 5.1 surround sound."

Well, there some of the features this chip supports. This will make AMD jump further into the CPU market as this chip should increase the CPU's performance. This will also make other chipset manufactures like Intel, VIA and SiS worried.
