The marginal tax on SS benefits can be as high as 47% and depends on the amount of other income you receive, even though some of that income may not be taxable. This calculator lets you enter your income amounts and the amount of SS. The results show how much of the SS is taxed, an estimate of your total income tax and your marginal tax rate. |
