| The Southern African Regional Relief Agency is an organisation made up of technocrats in the humantarian field. Our Main focus is to initiate and provide relief to affected areas of natural disasters and to provide a total reorganization of the socio-economic/geographical boundaries of such affected sites in the Southern African region. It is situated in Mozambique and has offices in its various Southern areas of Africa and its environs. In conjunction with the United Nations;the World Relief Office;Global Environment Facility; Oxfam America; more than 200 tons of food and non food items are being distributed daily by helicopters, planes ,boats and as the roads are being opened-by truck also. Because the centres accessible by land are few , in most cases our team still rely solely on air delivery. The co-ordination of logistics and transport are improving .As we experience a lot of aids coming into the southern region, SARRA is more committed with its team of technocrats to ensure that there is proper organisation in distribution of reliefs-especially in the bigger camps too. In collaboration with renown organisations like the UN, International red cross, the Southern Regional Governments and the local administration, intensed efforts are being made towards improving the distribution and organization systems. We have made use of volunteers in the production of family packs , project leaders , workers , students and solidarity workers from ADPP Mozambique in our continued service to humanity.
