How to serve Growing through service How Dr. King served

"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love."
-Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King knew that serving helped many and also improved the servants. He wanted all people, no matter their experience or their knowledge, to help through service. Now, as we take a day off in rememberance of Dr. King, it is only right that we make this day not a day of relaxation, but instead a day of service. Through serving, we honor and remember Dr. King as he would have liked to be remembered.
