Down Under 2001
| Paihia 22/03/2001 | I am now finally in New Zealand. First spend some days in Auckland. Distributing my CV and looking for jobs. Also I was looking for a room. I succeeded in the last thing. I got a room in a house in Pakuranga heights. The owner Judith lives not all the time their , but stay the other time at her beach house in Gisborne in the east of NZ. Further there are also living a south africian girl and her NZ boyfriend, but they will leave about one month to Melbourne to work there. There is also a 24 NZ boy living who is now a truck driver as a temporary job after he finished his study. I visit the house the last two days and will be moving in when I come back from my trip to the Bay of Islands. In auckland I also met Graham (Formerly Known as MR T-shirt) which know from the NT trip of 1997. After spending so much time in the cities , I thought it was good for me to have some relaxation at the bays of islands , before starting to get to work in Auckland. So there am I now in the wharf of Paihia. Tommorow morning I will departure for Sailing trip of 3 days around the bays. After that I will see what direction I go to. So for now , just enjoying the good weather and let the IT agencies search for the jobs while I am laying down in the sun. So for the coming days no much mails , but know I am just alright , don't be afraid of that. |
