Spanish Courses
The
intensive Spanish courses are all taught in a total immersion environment,
and let you experience the language and culture of the oldest town in
Chiapas. All the courses include homestay with a local family and you
will have enough time to enjoy workshops given in the local cultural center
at no extra cost. We have programs for children, teenagers, and adults,
and we can customize the courses to fit your time frame and needs.

Language Exchange Program
This
is a popular program here at Dunham Institute. We hire 3 TEFL certified
teachers per semester to teach English to children and adults, and in
exchange they receive housing with a local family and Spanish lessons.
You will leave an experienced teacher and with a diploma certifying your
level of Spanish.

Extra Curricular Activities
As
either a teacher or a student at Dunham Institute you may find that you
have free time on the weekends or the afternoons. There are workshops
and classes at the cultural centers that will teach you of the local traditions
and art work, and lots of outdoor activities to fill your time.
