UPDATED:July 16, 2007

Presently the Bayfield Winds are not rehearsing.

This is a time of reflection and a time for members to decide  on the future direction of the  of the Winds.

We are currently rudderless without a conductor to lead us and direct us. Our search will continue for the individual with the motivation and commitment to carry the Winds on their shoulder.

If you are, or know of someone who would like to be considered for Musical Director, please contact Paul Dearlove 519-233-3331, or if you are a musician  looking for a group to play with, please also contact me.

Until such time as we meet again on the concert stage, or rehearsal hall, please keep checking back to this site for further updates. Thank you

Please bookmark, and come back to this page often for updates, and information pertaining to the

     The
BAYFIELD WINDS would like to thank all of the dedictated friends and family that have followed us around  during our concert series.

EWS CARRIED ON THE "WINDS"

On April 21, six community bands Cambridge, Kitchener, Stratford, Kincardine and Bayfield performed in two catagories - Open Band class in which the Winds recieved a 3 place finish with 88. The Winds won the first ever Kenneth Avery Dearlove Trophy presented in the March Class. The Winds recieved a mark of 92, and were pleased to be the first name on the  trophy honouring their late Musical Director.  The Winds also received the trophy as the "Best Band in Festival". The Winds would like to acknowledge and thank their conductor Hugh McGregor for his hard work in achieving these results.
