DT: Did you ever play under the name of EVIL CUNT?
Ztephan Dark : No we did'nt. We change the name just before the first gig.

DT: Define yours style? ... Have you ever played the same style?.
Ztephan Dark : We play Death/ Black Metal. We have of course change our style. We have developed through the years. All line up changes has also contributed to different styles.

DT: What topics do you consider in your lyrics?. All lyrics are about death, Satan.
Ztephan Dark : I'm writing about dreams, horror, my own experience in my life and of course anti Christian lyrics. Some of the lyrics is written by former members and are very satanic. I'm not a Satanist in the way that I'm dealing with rituals and stuff. Of course am I total anti Christian but as I sad before, I don't like when people are slaves under a religion or a God. People shall be open minded and think on there own. For me is Satanism individual It's a philosophy, a life style.

DT: What do you think about STAR WARS?.
Ztephan Dark : Great movies. I saw the first STAR WARS when I was 10 years old. It's still one of the greatest movie ever. I don't like the new ones. All in the band are fan of the star wars movies

DT: Talk me about "VIOLENT MASSACRE" (Demo - 1988). 
Ztephan Dark : The VIOLENT MASSACRE demo is recorded live at music competition. We copy some cassettes and sold them at some local concerts. Only 50 maybe 100 copies. It´s very hard to get a original copy. I don´t have any myself.

DT: Your fave bands? .
Ztephan Dark : DISSECTION, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VOMITORY, KREATOR and many more.

DT: Do you like gore movies?.
Ztephan Dark : Yeah of course.

DT: Tell me about the your experience with the band MORGUE. 
Ztephan Dark : It was a Death Metal band between SATANIC SLAUGHTER. 90-94. STILL DEAD PRODUCTIONS will release our Demos in 2004. The band is also reunited. We will record a new album in 2004.

DT: Do you like GRAVE?. 
Ztephan Dark : Yes. Their first Demo is a killer.

DT: Do you like CANNIBAL CORPSE? CHRIS BARNES OR CORPSE GRINDER?. 
Ztephan Dark : CORPSE GRINDER....

DT: Tell us about "SATANIC SLAUGHTER" (Debut Album) 1996 - NECROPOLIS RECORDS, tell me about the experience with DAN SWANÖ.
Ztephan Dark : PAUL THIND of NECROPOLIS approaches me 1994 I was playing in MORGUE at that time and we had no record deal. I wanted to record an album. It was a great opportunity to release an album. The re- union of SS motivated me a lot at. They supported us totally until JENSEN and the other guys( now WITCHERY) "left" the band. We decided to leave NECROPOLIS when I heard some rumours that SS was JENSENS and PAUL THIND o project. They were only after the cult status and the band name in their greedy lust to earn money. We recorded the firs two albums at DAN SWANÖ 's studio. I had worked with him before when we recorded MORGUEs demos. I think he's music genius.

DT: Are you a Satanist band? ... what do you think about ALEISTER CROWLEY?.
Ztephan Dark : We are a Satanic band. I have my own ideology. It's not very human but It's personal. I hate Christianity, and I hate these fucking Muslims, Jews and shit. I'm not a Satanist in the way that I'm dealing with rituals and stuff. Of course am I total anti Christian but as I sad before, I don't like when people are slaves under a religion or a God. People shall be open minded and think on there own. For me is Satanism individual. ALEISTER CROWLEY was a junkie. I hate drugs. Drugs are for week people. I can stand to live in the reality.

DT: Are you into Serial Killers? ... What do you think about RICHARD RAMIREZ "THE NIGHT STALKER"?. 
Ztephan Dark : I'm actually not into serial killers.

DT: What do you think about H.R. GIGER's art? 
Ztephan Dark : He's great.

DT: Tell us about SATANIC SLAUGHTER and LORD BELIAL invasion in Germany (1998) for a mini-tour.
Ztephan Dark : It was SATANIC SLAUGHTER first tour. It was fucking great. We had a great time with LORD BELIAL.

DT: Do you like American PIT BULLS?. 
Ztephan Dark : No

DT: Which was the best audience you ever play for? .
Ztephan Dark : At the OPEN HELL FEST in Check Republic last summer.
And I also remember the gig at The Frontline 2000. We were on tour with RANGNARÖK. The place went totally crazy.

DT: Tell me about your friend CHUCK SCHULDINER?.
Ztephan Dark : I have never met him. He's an icon for Death Metal.

DT: Do you know MICKE BACKELIN's band LATEX ?.
Ztephan Dark : Yes I know them.

DT: Do you like the Old Heavy Metal? 
Ztephan Dark : Yes

DT: Do you like MOTLEY CRUE? 
Ztephan Dark : Yes the "Shout At The Devil" album is very good.

DT: Do you remember PUTREFACTION MAGAZINE? 
Ztephan Dark : No

DT: What do you think about LINKIN PARK, KORN, LIM BIZKIT? 
Ztephan Dark : They suck...

DT: The THANATOS Guru, (Gods from Holland) STEPHAN GEBÉDI is your friend?
Ztephan Dark : I have never meet him but I know their music. I got a demo and their fisrt album.

DT: Do you like VASSAGO?. 
Ztephan Dark : Yes.

DT: Have you ever consider playing in this part of the world? (I mean Perú) 
Ztephan Dark : If any one is able to pay the flight ticket we will come for sure.

DT: Tell us about your AFTERLIFE KINGDOM Album (2000)? … Thanks for the album J
Ztephan Dark : It was released by LOUD N'PROUD records. It was our fisrt recording at HELLTOWER STUDIO. It's a great album but the distribution was terrible. I think it's hard to find. The sound could be better.

DT: Tell us about your friends, the BACKELIN Family (LATEX, VASSAGO, LORD BELIAL).
Ztephan Dark : Had done some tour with LORD BELIAL. The BACKELIN brothers are great.

DT: What Peruvian Magazines do you know? .
Ztephan Dark : Only DEATHTHRASHER MAGAZINE.

DT: Do you like albums like "CRUSADER", "SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE", "DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH", "LOVE AT FIRST STING", "BLIZZARD OF OZZ", "DIARY OF A MADMAN", "BARK AT THE MOON", "1984"? 
Ztephan Dark : Yes of course. It was these albums I listen to when I was younger.

DT: "AFTERLIFE KINGDOM" is your last Gem with NECROPOLIS RECORDS, what can you tell me about your long time with NECROPOLIS?. 
Ztephan Dark : NECROPOLIS never released AFTERLIFE KINGDOM. The refused to pay for the studio. We asked LOUD N' PROUD instead. They released the album in 2000. We waited 8 month for the money for the studio time. We decided to leave NECROPOLIS.

DT: Tell me about "BANISHED TO THE UNDERWORLD" (2002) CD. 
Ztephan Dark : BANISHED TO THE UNDERWORLD is our best and mature album so far. Our second recording at Studio HELLTOWER. It was released by BLACK SUN records. After LOUD N` PROUD was bankrupted we signed for Black Sun.

DT: DIANNO, DICKINSON or BAYLEY? 
Ztephan Dark : DICKINSON

DT: Do you remember the ORIGINAL ROCK IN RIO? with AC/DC, SCORPIONS, WITHESNAKE, OZZY OSBOURNE, IRON MAIDEN? 
Ztephan Dark : No but I remember the fisrt MONSTERS OF ROCK in Sweden 1984. With AC/DC, VAN HALEN and MOTLEY CRUE. It was one of my first big concert. My first was actually IRON MAIDEN 1983. I also visited MONSTERS OF ROCK in 1986 with OZZY, DEF LEPPARD. And 1988 MONSTERS OF ROCK at Donington U.K. The bands was, HELLOWEEN, DAVID LEE ROTH, GUNS N´ ROSES, KISS and IRON MAIDEN

DT: Do you like ACCEPT? 
Ztephan Dark : Yes with UDO. I saw them in 1986 and 1999.

DT: Do you like SCORPIONS "ACOUSTICA" Album? 
Ztephan Dark : No, I fucking hate SCORPIONS

DT: Your Future Plans? 
Ztephan Dark : New album, new tour. I hope we can tour the whole world next time.
