NOTES OF APPRECIATION

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day, whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part.  I would like to especially thank Scott and Bob for the beautiful service-Tommy would have been pleased. Also, a special thanks to all those who provided food before and after the service for both families and friends.

Everyone thought my church family was special and, of course, they were right.

Yours in Christ,   Jo Cordell

Dear Friends,

Thank you so very much for your many, many, many prayers. I think your prayers is what brought me through because I had a very close call. Thank you for the beautiful cards. They are appreciated. Thanks to Scott, Bob, and Jerri Doty for their visits and prayers. I Love You All,

                                  Bessie James

Ricky Barnett would like to express extreme gratitude for all the thoughts and prayers, as well as the calls and cards that were sent during the time of the loss of her sister.

Congratulations!

Did you know that Janie Knaebel graduated Friday, Dec 21 from Nursing School as the top student in her class? Way to go, Janie!

SWAT NEWS

We have been busy this Christmas season. On Dec. 3 we attended the Singing Christmas Tree at Bellevue.  On Dec. 16 we visited some of our shutins. We sang Christmas carols and presented them with “SWAT”-made Christmas ornaments.

Afterwards we returned to the church for our Christmas party.  A good time was had by all!  If you are a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader, we would love to have you attend our meetings at 4 p.m on Sunday afternoons.  As our acronym indicates Spiritual Warriors Action Team, we are involved in Bible study, prayer & service.  Hope to see you there.  Miss Courtney and Miss Judy.
