website. I have become aware that the main club's webname
has passed on to Poole.com, a reseller of web addresses. This
effectively closes our chapter since I have no desire to battle a potential new owner for use of logos or past material. All past
member info under my control will be deleted or distroyed to
prevent it passing to a mailing list company. I do not have
control of the membership info I passed on to the main club
however. All member submitted photos on the Eastern Chapter
website will be deleted and all rights to publish them naturally
remain with the member. I will eventually empty and delete
all content. The dsweastern@yahoo.com address will remain
as long as I see fit. Thank you to everyone who sent in material
in the past.
Since I want to continue in the vintage sled hobby I am
setting up camp at vsrweblog@yahoo.com and will
eventually start a Geocities webpage under the name
V.S.R.WEBLOG [short for vintage snowmobile restorers] I will
not be collecting member info. My idea is a simple blog page
with plenty of room for show photos. I would also like to
feature some discussion of the manufacturers themselves,
the sucesses and failures and even speculation as to what
could have been possible if the 70's had been the snowiest
decade in this century.
Contributed articles and photo logs will be welcomed.
