Calgary @ Dallas game preview, HEAD-TO-HEAD STATS AT BOTTEM
Dallas is closing in on the playoffs, and are trying to reach toward another division title.
The Stars are trying to match a franchise record of a 13 home game unbeaten streak when the Calgary Flames head over to American Airlines Center to continue a four game road trip.

Dallas, has won a division title in six of the past seven seasons, and has just three games remaining against the San Jose Sharks. The Stars will hopefully defeat the Sharks in every one.

This years title= season sweep

Jason Arnott assisted on all three of Bill Guerin's goals, and helped the Stars extend their unbeaten streak to seven games 6-0-1.
The Stars yet have one more meeting if the Stars our succesful on all two meetings between the Flames then they will make a season sweep against them.

The first six games of this homestand, Dallas has outscored opponents 22-9, averaging 3.66 goals.

The line which has Guerin, Arnott and Brenden Morrow has 29 points in the last seven games, with Bill Guerin slapping six goals and six assists up.

The Calgary Fames, are trying to end a seven-year playoff elimination, and will try to move within one point of Dallas for fifth in the West with a victory Friday.

The Flames recently lost to Detroit.

Detroit beat Calgary 2-1 Wednesday night, Manny Legace with 28 saves. Mathieu Dandenault broke his right foot when he was hit hard by a rocket shot from Calgary's Robyn Regehr in the first. Roman Turek blocked 20 shots.

Detroit is still playing without defensemen Derian Hatcher who still has a knee injury but is expected to be back in a week or two.

Iginla ended Legace's shutout with 4:59 remaining. He picked up a loose puck, skated in the wings zone and beat Legace with a fast wrist shot from the left circle.

Iginla is playing hard and trying to get his team a playoff spot. The captain has four goals in his last three games and 16 in his past 18 games.
