Coverd up,4-1 -

Well after a 0-0 first period, which Dallas came out and playerd great , they fell behind 2-0 in the second period by, Colorado's Dan Hinote and some who say is the worlds greatest NHL player Peter Forsberg , who tipped a shot off of Dallas defenseman Philippe Boucher's skate was deflected and went in to the Stars net. The Stars where currently playing without Captain Mike Modano who is out with a (groin strain) and Rob DiMaio is out (ankle injury) Colorado almost made it a 3-0 lead over Dallas, when Paul Kariya bursted up in the Stars zone and made a shot, but Turco poke-checked it away before he even had a chance to think about shooting or scoring. then 17:56 in the third period Colorado's Brad Larsen ripped a shot into the net to make it a 3-0 Avalanche lead. Midway in the third period Peter Forsberg registerd his second goal of the game against Dallas. Finaly the Stars responded after 49 minutes of play, Brenden Morrow made a slick pass to Sergei Zuboz, and one-timed it into the Avs net. Also Stars head coach Dave Tippett said that there is a chance Captain Mike Modano may re-join the Stars in Calgary for Saturday's game against the Flames, But its most likely, Right Wing, Rob DiMaio will be out of the Stars line up for a bit after he suffered an ankle injury Tuesday in San Jose Sharks game, which the Stars won 3-0 in. DiMaio has been listed for day-to-day. Stars back-up goaltender Ron Tugnutt, who had been playing in Utah, also suffered a groin injury earlier this week and is back in Dallas for treatment. But it seems to be at least a week away from a return to the ice.
