SAID Web Page - Sexual Allegations In Divorce

IF THEY CAME FOR ME, THEY WILL COME FOR YOU.

"First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me."

Martin Niemoeller, a German Lutheran clergyman, was put in concentration camps for his speaking out against Hitler’s nightmare. Have we learned nothing since then?

This web site is for the support of men who have been the victims of Sexual Allegations In Divorce (SAID). SAID is a growing phenomenon due in part to the shift of the courts no longer just automatically giving women the custody of children and the resulting material benefits of money via Child Support and housing via Use and Possession orders. The Domestic Violence laws meant to protect the real victims of abuse are being used to gain an unfair advantage in the Divorce Process.

The County Health Department and Civil Legal system have systematically discriminated against men on the basis of gender stereotyping. An admission of unequal treatment of men ordered into group counseling for Domestic Abuse Findings have been documented in custody hearings. It is clear that there is a disproportionate number of Ex Parte', Custody and Divorce rulings against men in relation to the general population. With studies showing 75 to 85% of all sexual abuse allegations against married men to be false, and 63.7% of child abuse is committed by women, the time for recognizing and correcting gender discrimination has come. Fighting Gender Discrimination will become the new Civil Rights Movement of the Twenty-first Century. No doubt there will be some people who will claim that opposition to the Domestic Violence Act and women's abuse of it is just male chauvinism, and men having problems with women, that's like accusing Martin Luther King of being a racist because he called attention to discrimination against African Americans.

It is hoped that the pages in this web site will inform, protect and galvanize to action all men and women of good conscience. It is said that if we fail to protect the freedoms of even the most despised group within our society then we ourselves are not free. It is clear that men are not politically correct as a group and have been negatively stereotyped as the African American community or any other group to be discriminated against. As we all know, to effectively discriminate against any group, a negative stereotype must be developed and repeated like a mantra to get the general population to accept it. Once this stereotype takes hold, anytime a person of that group does something to confirm the stereotype, it used as a reinforcement to justify the belief. This is goes to the heart of all forms of bigotry.

"At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."

Abraham Lincoln
