Letterboxing
Hi!  Thank you for coming to our site.

Our family has recently taken up Letterboxing.  For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, please visit www.letterboxing.org.

This is a wonderful family activity.  Not only does it get us outdoors, it is great excersice, and the kids have fun "treasure hunting".  Jessica is even helping to carve stamps!

We found our first box in October 2003.  And soon after this we started carving our own stamps.  From there, we have moved on to carving our postal letterbox stamps as well as the letterbox stamps.

Sadly, our state has very few letterboxes that are kid friendly.  For that reason, we have decided to plant more boxes as well as move into postal letterboxes.

On our site, you will find a list of the boxes we have planted and found.  This will include actual letterboxes, postal letterboxes and hitchhikers.

Thank you Family Fun Magazine for introducing us to this family activity!
