I do not presently run a kennel, but am researching what is out there in the way of German Shepherd Dogs, and the practices of their breeders. I prefer the traditional German bloodlines, would like a puppy whose parents (and preferably at least 2 other g nerations) have been fed human grade food (preferably raw), and that have not been vaccinated or have received only the initial DHLP. I read that you give 3 series of these shots prior to releasing your puppies to a new home. I'm sorry, but I find this eplorable. You may want to read "What the Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines". Do you know of any other breeders who may fit my requirements? Cheryl

I left this bit of stupidity on my site to show the extent of ignorance some people have...note the lack of grammatical skills, yet this person wants you to believe that NON vaccinated animals are somehow healthier than vaccinated ones and so the ignorance is perpetuated...YES I will continue to vac my animals, as a former vet tech I can have seen the ravages of disease that are, if not preventable at least muted due to vaccination. She states she does not own a kennel, thank god! and NO I ouldn't recommend a breeder who did not provide DHLP/PC...what an idiot.

I recently lost a 10 month old GSD to a Hybrid wolf. The 2 animals were raised together and I cannot even beging to guess at a motive. The wolf was of course was put down. I very much want a working GSD for companion and for protection /shuthund work. I am a novice trainer but have had dogs most of my life. Generally the dogs role was that of walking companion. I live near the hills in a small town and take my dogs walking to the hills where I turn them loose to run while I unwind. I simply never had a dog who showed itself capable of more, until Baerd came into my life and taught me what a Real dog should and could be.
