Here Goes,
This first entry will bring everyone up to date on what's happening at the Vaughn household with emphasis on the sailing aspects of our (my) life. As soon as I figure this software out, I'll be updating regularly.

Well, it has been along time between updates. The bottom line.... I don't sail nearly as often as I'd like. I did get the boat out of the water recently which prompmted this encounter:
Just got back from a 3 day "Spring Break" cruise with the kids. Rosie opted to stay home and work on the house. We sailed up to the Ft. Pierce City Marina, what a nice spot.... and reasonable too. We motor sailed the first half of the way there and then the wind stiffened and we made 6 knots under jib alone (ok... with help from the flood tide). Made great time! Met some fine people at the marina, "T", the lady next door on a Hunter 30 and her son James, a one year old that was a handful. Here are a few pics of the trip......
