Check back often to see the latest news and hear what is happeneing in general. Eleuthera is her name... The word Eleuthera comes from the Greek language which means Freedom. This is also the name of an island in the Bahamas. The island was settled by loyalists of King George who left America and Bermuda after the revolutionary war. They gave the island this name ironcally implying that freedom, both religious and governmental, was to be found as a Brittish subject rather than an American citizen. |
