TO ALL CONFEDERATE SOLDIERS, RE-ENACTORS, MILITIA GROUP MEMBERS AND CONFEDERATE SYMPATHIZERS:
Attention all Confederates!! By order of the commander of all Union Army forces you are hereby directed to disarm!.
All Confederate soldiers, reenactors, militia groups and Confederate sympathizers are hereby ordered to surrender all firearms and ammunition in your possession. You should take these to your nearest federal law enforcement agency or local law enforcement agency. This is for your own safety and protection as it is extremely dangerous for anyone with Rebel dementia to possess, own, operate or handle firearms. This includes modern firearms as well as Civil War replicas.
Persons with Rebel dementia have been known to get extremely emotionally upset and frustrated when they finally realize that the Civil War is over and that the South will never rise again to be victorious. It is not uncommon among the emotionally unstable and distraught that suicide becomes an option. Therefore it is for your own protection and safety that you are ordered to lay down your arms and make no further war against the United States of America.
In addition to surrender of all firearms soldiers of the Confederacy, all encampments south of the Mason-Dixie line or in territories or states west of the Mississippi River, are hereby ordered to destroy any and all Confederate flags in their possession. This is being made an ADDENDUM to the surrender agreement signed by Gen. Robert E. Lee at Appomattox Court House. No longer shall any state be permitted the display of symbols associated with Rebel dementia and the Confederacy.
It is hereby directed that all Confederate flags, emblems, uniforms and other memorabilia be destroyed by fire and burial of the ashes. From this day forth it shall be illegal and unlawful to possess and make public display of a Confederate flag and said possession or public display shall result in fine of $10,000.00 and/or imprisonment of 12 months for each offense.
You have 30 days to comply with this directive and notification after which federal agents may be authorized to seize all firearms, Confederate flags, uniforms or other Civil War memorabilia under special arrest and seizure warrants which will be issued under this or future directives and proclamations.
No longer shall those suffering Rebel dementia be permitted to reenact the Civil War and bring dishonor to our great Union by pretending to relive battles long ago fought on hallowed and sacred grounds. Such behavior is demeaning to the memory of our ancestors who died and suffered that their children and their children's children generation upon generation, would not have to be so engaged in eternal battle and conflict against our great Union.
Lay down your arms and surrender your Confederate flags. Make no further war against the United States of America, dreamed or imagined! To do so will only lead to your own destruction and the mental anguish that is Rebel dementia! Failure to obey this directive will surely bring dishonor and disgrace to your regiment, to your state, to your family and to yourselves as it is madness to live forever with the delusion of Rebel dementia!
