Hoi Pa Street Government Primary A.M. School

Long time ago, I was a student of Hoi Pa Street Government Primary A.M. School (Now Hoi Pa Street Government Primary School). I have finished the primary six in July, 1990. Delighted to know that many of my primary school classmates did visit my homepage and we make contacts through ICQ, I would invite any of my primary school classmates, to email me or add me in ICQ; my UIN is 1029442.

You are also welcome to visit it's homepage.

MY PLACE

I was born in Hong Kong, when it was the colony of the United Kingdom, now being the Special Adminstrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

Tsuen Wan was once a fishing village area and it is the first batch of new towns developed since the initiation of New Town Development Programme in 1973. Since then it's population grows. It is now a residential, commercial and industrial area with a population of over 790,000 and active reclamation is undertaking to provide more for development. The Mass Transit Railway Tsuen Wan Line (TWL) was named as Tsuen Wan is one of the terminus and MTR built a depot here. West Rail by the Kowloon Canton Railway will commission in 2003.

MY CULTURE

Being a Chinese, we speak Cantonese most often. As Hong Kong is a SAR (Special Administrative Region) of China, the use of Mandarin is widened. In Hong Kong, Chinese and English are both official languages. Use of English is of long history, as Hong Kong was a British colony for over 150 years.

With the sovereignty over Hong Kong reverted to China at midnight on 30 June 1997, people in Hong Kong have been given the identity and nationality, recognized as the people of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Besides Crichton, Stephen Hawking is my another favourite. He is a great physicist in this World and has written several books including A Brief History of Time. Since 1979 he has held the post of Lucasian Professor of Mathematics in Cambridge.

MY COMPUTING

I have my interest in the computers when I have visited one of my friend's home. Yes...if you are one of my friends, you should know the one I am talking about is Sunny Chan. When I was just a 11 year-old boy, I visited his home one day and sat in front of the computer screen by the first time! He was playing KOEI game at that time. I was excited! Since then, I have read so many books related to computer. Just before I bought my first machine, I have finished reading two books concerning DOS and BASIC.

I had my first PC at 1991, which is equipped with i386sx CPU and 2 Mb of RAM. Now I have a PC with Celeron 1.2 GHz processor, 512 Mb of RAM and 30 G harddisk.

In the past, I explored it; now I use it. Computer for me is not only a toy for me to play but use. I use it to search online medical journal articles through MEDLINE.
