Titania's Awakening - Charles Sims This is the link source for Her2Eternity's Fan Fiction. If you came here by accident, please be aware that I am an exclusively NC-17 writer primarily focused in the world of Harry Potter. My work includes a variety of controversial subjects, including but not limited to:

  • graphically described scenes of sex and violence,
  • homosexual relationships,
  • pedophilia,
  • drug use,
  • incest,
  • and quite a bit of cursing.
If you find any of this offensive, please do me the kindness of returning to the place from whence you came. If you arrived specifically for this, welcome and enjoy!

The story links lead back to my LiveJournal entries unless otherwise noted. Translation links for stories that include French, Latin, etc, can be found beside their respective titles. Clicking will give you a nice little pop-up with internal links to translations by chapter. As long as you leave the pop-up open, it'll serve as a handy reference guide and negate the need to scroll down.

This link archive will also give me the opportunity to upload expanded author's notes and other little goodies as I stumble across them. Making some art to go along with this wreck is next on the agenda.

If what I write does anything for you at all, please consider leaving a review. They mean more to me than words can say. Also, please don't hesitate to tell me if I've utterly botched something, made a hash of French, or if I deviate too wildly from character.

And the requsite disclaimer: all characters are the property of their orignal owners, and I am indebted for the little loan. I will stay indebted, because I receive no monetary compensation for these works.

Update: I've posted my first piece of original fiction here. It was always my intention to use my Fan Fiction for a confidence booster before tackling the world of publication, but doing both opens doors to all-new levels of distraction and obsession, so I must comply.

My original work is several series of 3 - 6 books, called The Deadwatch Trilogy, Gymillrion, and The Cycle of the Seventh Illusion. There are also a few novels and short story collection that stand alone, part of the world but apart from any series. The story included here is from The Cycle of the Seventh Illusion. It's fantasy/horror, so all the standard squick warnings apply.

Eventually I'll set up a referance site for The Seventh Illusion, but I need a bit more HTML under the belt first. Thanks for reading!

"And in the end/The love you take/Is equal to the love/You make." ~ John Lennon

So what is "The Luminous" anyway?

"The Luminous" is the deviant project of a girl with far too much time on her hands. "The Luminous" is a series. "The Luminous" is a vast work-in-progess. "The Luminous" is an obsession.

I started this series back in 2000 after my awakening to Harry Potter. (See my essay Confessions of a Post Gen-X Harry Potter Hater if you want the nitty-gritty on said awakening.) Intially, I only planned to write a serious story about young Severus Snape with a bit of sex thrown in. I should know myself well enough by now to realize that 'only' is a word that I am forbidden to use. Through a chain of events beyond my control, "The Luminous" has swelled to a 13 novella epic, rife with hot sex and mind-boggling plot twists. It's taken on a life of it's own, and it's a life that owns me. I very nearly dread the publication of new Harry Potter books, because that means I might have hundreds of pages to 'adjust' so that I am once again canon-faithful. I may go off the deep end from time to time, but I always try and come back to the place where I started from; namely J. K. Rowling's wonderful world.

I can't apologize for the content of these stories. They include all of the above unmentionables, and probably more nastiness that I've forgotten. There's a great deal of bizarre research sandwiched throughout the tales. There's French. Alcohol. Ghosts. Much, much more.

The stories are listed here in a rough chronological order. Quite a few chapters overlap, so it's diffecult to state where one leaves off and another begins. You can skip around with "Harm," "Hymn, Glamourie, Fire," "Silvering I," "La Symphonie du Dragon," and "Neverland." The other stories, including the "Aodh:Faol" series and the later books like "Orchid" and "Love's Lament" are very dependant upon events related earlier in the series. "The Heart Wants" can be delved into with impunity; it's supposed to be a bit of a mess.

Enjoy the places in my unhealthy head, and please leave feedback if you are so moved. It means the world to me.

This is the story of Remus Lupin. It begins with his attack at the age of nine and follows him through his first year at Hogwarts. This is a very different Remus from the one usually portrayed in fan fiction: he is very dark, very disturbed, and very frightened of the creature taking over his existence. Meditating Wolves and Oil Paints.

Some of the dialogue in this story is written in French. For a translation guide, please click here. It will open in a new window that you can take back to the story with you.

One: Black Gesso
Two: Cadmium Yellow Pale

This is the story of Sirius Black, and the second piece of Fan Fiction I ever toyed with. Essentially, as I worked on "Harm," Mr. Black kept popping up and screaming that he'd been framed. Well, not framed precisely, but mirepresented. I tried to ignore him for a while, the the inspiration for the first chapter hit, and Sirius got what he wanted after all.

For more information on this story, please see the essay Shoot Myself in the Head like a Rock Star.

Oh the fic that started it all, starring my beloved Severus Snape. The first adult fan fic I ever read was about Snape and Harry, and it was beautifully done. My admiration for the steamy tale combined with my curiosity about Snape himself. This was just after The Prisoner of Azkaban came out in paperback for the first time, and Snape's violent reaction to Black's escape startled me a little. What on earth could have happened to make Snape despise Black so much that he lost it for a moment there? Speculation became fiction became "Harm."

There's not a lot of light in this tale. I wanted to create a believable Snape who was raw, beaten and bruised by the world but powerful enough to leave Voldemort and return to the light. The old cliche, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger," runs in full effect here.

I. Confession
II. Salt and Copper
III. Black

I was quite surprised by the fact that I chose to write a fic about Lily Evans. She's never even remotely appealed to me. Other than screaming a bit in the fourth book, there's very little personality there. Other people speak about her, but the real Lily Evans stays very elusive.

Most of the stories in "The Luminous" have an underlying current of my personal obsessions. For "Hymn," it's 1960's rock n' roll, for "Silvering I," it's oil paints and Oscar Wilde. When I began considering writing a section about Lily, I knew that I wanted to celebrate my love for tarot cards and for Alice in Wonderland. The two combined in a very interesting manner; for more background on this story, see the essay The Mad Tea Party of the Heart

One: XII. The Hanged Man. Prophecy. The First Mad tea Party

Aodh:Faol is Irish Gaelic for Fire:Wolf. The colon between them is used in the sense of an analogy, as in "brick is to brick layer as paint is to painter." It suggests an abstract relationship between the two, but nevertheless a relationship that is very valid. Therefore, fire is to wolf as . . . the analogy is for the reader to decide.

The first part of Aodh:Faol takes place during Sirius Black's seventh year at Hogwarts. For the most part, it's a flashback to his youth, and explains the early influences in Sirius's life that conspired to make him such a paradox. Don't worry, this isn't one of those boring "catch up on background info" stories. This one is like all the rest, rife with murder, chan, incest, and all the goodies I can't seem to leave alone.

The second part of Aodh:Faol takes place just after Lily and James have gotten married. The story follows Remus and Sirius to Ireland. Their relationship is in dire straits, and it's hoped that some time away from James, Lily, and Peter will be able to heal the growing rift between them. Unfortunately, they each have their own agenda.

The third part of Aodh:Faol takes place after Sirius Black has been sent to Azkaban. Remus, torn apart by guilt, wants to set at least one thing right in his life. This means that he must enlist the help of Lucius Malfoy. The two set off on a deadly journey, and what awaits them at the end will change them both forever.

An artsy piece, this was part of "The Luminous" was fueled by reading too much beat poetry and (I am not sure hw this is related, but they came about at the same time) watching hours upon hours of Cowboy BeBop. No, there's nothing here about space travel, intelligent dogs, or the mandatory annoying-child anime character that I always want to strangle five minutes after meeting. This is just the story of Sirius Black in Azkaban as pieced together by the man hired to hunt him down and kill him. Oh, so that's how Cowboy BeBop relates. Bounty hunting. Hmm.

This is the story of Draco Malfoy from the ages of 12 - 14 as he struggles with his worship for his father and his desire to please him, and his maddening love for a man who cannot love him in return. One of my biggest hopes for the Harry Potter books is that Draco really is fighting his dark side and acceptance of the Mark. Maybe I read too much fan fiction, but I truly believe that Draco wishes he was more like Harry than like his father.

Another dastardly Remus Lupin story, this takes place during Prisoner of Azkaban and end after Order of the Phoenix. My Remus, in all his haunted, demented glory.

This story takes place after the Great War. Naturally, I'm tempted not to begin it until J. K. Rowling finishes with the series, but I'm tempted to play with it anyway. She better not kill anyone else who matters to me!

Rant aside, the new Headmaster of Hogwarts is putting together his first teaching staff. All the positions are filled save for (wait for it) Divinations (fooled ya!). Then a piece of his past comes back to haunt him, and once again the necessity for terrible decisions comes hard and fast.

This is really the final book of the series. "The Heart Wants" is a series of vignettes across the span of the series that can be read at any time. As far as novellas go, this is the clincher.

Simply stated, the Headmaster of Hogwarts receives a letter begging his intervention in a matter that goes all the way back to his sixth year at Hogwarts. The time of redemptions is at hand.

Just a series of vignettes that run the course of the series, adding depth to some situations, making mention of the little things too unimportant to make a subplot. Some of them are first person, others in second or third. This story will be added to fairly frequently, whenever the superartsy mood the just write something strikes me. Yes, there will be sex. Lots and lots of sex.

1973/Sirius

A collection of essays, most of them taking the form of author's notes. I did an embarassing amount of research for this series, and sometimes I like to share my little gems of knowledge or shine some light on some funky insight.

I'll be honest with you. "Wild" is an excuse to write about lots of pretty original chracters havin sex with lots pf pretty canon characters. This is still vaguely related to "The Luminous," but aparts from Draco's involvement with the most nerfarious club at Hogwarts, not muc else is done with this group over the main story arch. Just yummy, smutty fun with some guests appearances.

The classic twincest piece, wherein Fred does everything in his power to convince George that his cherry should really be surrendered to his twin. Smutty, meant to be a PWP but bloated like everything else I write. Starts during Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and drags many minor chracters into twincest dabauchery. Touches on "The Luminous" but is not permitted to play for more than one chapter.

AHH! I have broken so many promises to myself by writing this fic. It was in response to a rentboy challenge issued by Peja at the Harry Potter Slash Yahoo Group. Evil Peja!

Here are my sins:

  • writing about Harry Potter in more than the most abstract sense,
  • writing about Harry Potter's penis (just disgusting!),
  • writing about Ron's penis (even more horrifying to write about than Harry's),
  • writing about Ron and Harry having sex (feeling queasy),
  • writing about Ron and Harry having sex with people I care about (*fuming*),
  • writing about Ron, Harry, and Hermione having sex (I'm going to start crying),
  • writing about Draco Malfoy in black leather pants (such a fan cliche! Vomit!)
In essence, this is the fic I'm going to hell for writing. Please be informed that this filthy thing has absolutely nothing to do with "The Luminous," and it never has and it never will.

Just a PWP, nothing more. Rogue and Wolverine trapped a car in the middle of a blizzard at night. Really, it could happen to anyone . . .

This is my first, last, and only Lord of the Rings fic, not because I don't love the series and don't see slash in it everywhere, but just because it's too lovely for me to defile, and this was the only pairing I wanted to write anyway. Why? Because I am messed up and Hobbit!Sex appeals to people like me.

So, Merry and Pippen are back from Mordor and rather bored, when they make the discovery that there's still some territory left unexplored.

A little collection (very little at the moment) of drawings for "The Luminous."
