8 June- Tuesday

We left early on Tuesday Morning from London for  a Virgin Train from London Euston to Penrith, where we then took a bus to Keswick.
To our surprise, we found a room for us at the YHA Hostel at Keswick, at only less than £10/day.  We then had a nice, cheap pub lunch and went sightseeing................

We went to see the Lake Keswick. We hired a boat to have a good row......................... Howard as seen from this photo here is having fun wetting everyone, including himself :-)

9 June- Wednesday

We went hiking- Mount Blencatha.  We took a short bus ride and walked from around 9:30am till around 4pm...

A Photo of Howard & Patrick taken before we set off This is the Sharp-Edge Ridge which we climbed before reaching the peak.

Howard trying the 'pretend' that this ridge is real tough- thanks to the good photography William having fun on the ridge
At Long Last, we reached the summit.......

10 June- Thursday

Having had an exhausting day hiking, we decided to go sight-seeing at Ambleside and Windermere.   A Photo of Patrick & William by the lakeside.
And finally, we get on board a bus to Lancaster, using the 'Explorer' one day ticket we bought at Keswick where we took a train back home............
