Hi and welcome to my website. As you can see it is centered around the existence of my 87 Mazda RX-7 Turbo, and my 88 Mazda RX-7 Anniversary Edition, also a Turbo. These cars are know as the Second Generation or FC3S. The denotation FC3S comes from the VIN, FC3 being the Turbo Model, normally FC33***** and so on. These cars are powered by a unique kind of engine, the Rotary. They were designed by Felix Wankel, not created though. The idea of a rotary engine predates his birth. The history up to the RX-7s rotary engine goes from Europe to Japan. There are three generations for RX-7s, and three different engines. The first gen. had the 12A, a carbureted engine that ran from 78-85. The second gen. had the 13B, which came in N/A (naturally aspirated) and Turbo trim. The third gen. which only came with the 13B-REW which is an advanced version of the fuel injected 13B, with Twin Sequential Turbos. I know very little about the First and Third generation cars as I've spent most of my time learning all I can about the ones I have.

I hope to one day make the 87 into a touring style, and the AE into a street beast. Luckily there is a long line of second generation owners that have done both so I hope to learn from them and not make the
same mistakes.
