1. Breakfast Snack will be served 8:35 – 8:50 am.  The remainder of this time will   

    be whole group/brain gym activities. Buses will load at 11:50.

2. There will be five segments of 30 minute instructional blocks. 

3. Students will be given name tags before being dispersed to classes.

4. Bus and cafeteria duty will rotate each Saturday.

5. Classrooms and tables will be labeled for identification of student groups.

6. Discipline – There may be minor disruptions.  You may use the Saturday

    School Office Referral Form to alert parents (warning) or dismiss the student.

    We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior. Please document on appropriate

    form.

7. Each child will have a portfolio (folder) for their work.

 

Instructional Groups:

Writing – Students will work on pre-writing skills and will use writing checklists and rubrics to create grade/appropriate writing.

Reading – Students will receive small group guided reading lessons and whole group on grade level instruction.

Math – Students will work on grade appropriate math skills as determined by curriculum map.

Computer Skills – Students will use technology to create organizers linked to language arts skills.

Test Strategies – Students will practice test taking strategies using the Georgia CRCT format.
