I grew up in various places throughout Oregon and Washington state.  I grew up in Warm Springs , Oregon on an Indian reservation with my dad and his relatives, until I was 8 years old.  Then my two younger brothers and I moved to Wapato, WA to live with our Aunt.  Wapato is in an agricultural area on the Yakima Indian Reservation in central Washington.  Central Washington is where the "Washington Apples" are mainly grown. 

I graduated from high school in 1995 and went to college in Seattle, WA on a full scholarship.

COLLEGE

In January 1999, I transferred from the University of Washington in Seattle to be with my husband in Philadelphia, PA . I graduated from Drexel University in June 2001 with a B.S. in Math and teacher certification to become a Math teacher.  I've always liked math and admired my math and science teachers as role models. My high school math and science teachers pushed me to do well in math and science, and they helped me obtain a full NASA Space Grant Scholarship at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle. Now I would like to make that same difference that my high school teachers made for me.

I'm a Substitute teacher in Seattle, WA and tutor Math part-time.
