Where Does She Hide Her Wings?

I knew God would send me an angel, I just didn't know it would be you,
Wondering about all the stupid things that men like me can do,
Never taking the time to thank him for life and all of the other great things,
I just want somebody to tell me,
WHERE DOES SHE HIDE HER WINGS?

I've watched her sleep and watched her walk and can't imagine why,
She has promised to love me and share my life each day until we die,
And man it's amazing, it truly fascinates, the vision of her, the scenes,
I just want somebody to tell me,
WHERE DOES SHE HIDE HER WINGS?

He said she would come to me like a thief in the night, he said she would be proud,
And he knew she had to have a sensuous whisper, he knew she couldn't be too loud,
He knew her voice has to be melodious to soothe me when she sings,
I just want somebody to tell me,
WHERE DOES SHE HIDE HER WINGS?

I know now that God answers prayers; I shall remain on bended knees,
I just hope that I am worthy, since he's filled two arms like these,
I know that he is watching and that he forgives in great degrees,
Thanks for this angel father, now
WHERE DOES SHE HIDE HER WINGS?
