Another riding year over, for us Northern Ohioans. We have been blessed with wonderful weather that has allowed us to ride through December! Six of our members participated in our annual mileage contest and logged on a combined total of 47, 282 miles! Can't wait for next year. It's only gonna get better!
It's April and we were blessed with a blast of heat, last week. Now...it's back to normal...chilly and rainy. Oh, well....after all this is Northern Ohio!
Now that we have all had a chance to get out and change that oil, grease those chains and shine that chrome it's time to get those MOTORS RUNNIN'!!!

Finally got our asses in gear and headed out! First stop...MAWMR. Gerry, Arlene, Nancy, Deb S., Maggie and her Mother, Carole. Carole rode in Gerry's sidecar and must say she had a blast. However, on the way home the Wing took a dive just outside of Washington DC. Gerry managed to limp it to Fredrick, MD where it was loaded onto a u haul for it's return to Cleveland (check photo pages for the painful details). While at MAWMR we had too much fun, met new friends and laughed so much we could barely talk each morning. I, especially, enjoyed meeting and talking with Vicki Gadson. This lady's son is Rickey Gadson and if you know anything about drag racing, then you know who I am talking about! Check my motorcycle links for his website.
The next week, my daughter and I headed to the AMA Women's Conference, in W. Virginia. Met with old friends from the club, Elena and Paula. Spent time with friends from Moving Violations MC (see photo pages). Test rode a Ninja 500. Don't know if my old ass can take a bike like that, but it sure was fun once I figured out which gear I was supposed to be in! I also found out why folks on crotch rockets wear full face helmets......at 85 mph a half helmet will lift off of your head while the chin strap chokes the shit out you. And...no matter what kind of glasses you have on your eyelids will begin to flutter which makes it somewhat difficult to see where you're going *smile*!
