Lina, Irene and her hubby and myself left for Taipei on 10 April to attend Jerry's autograph session on 13 April.

It was our first time queueing overnight on the 12th, and in a foreign land, the outdoor temperature was only 15 degrees C! In the middle of the night at 3am, since we couldn't sleep, my taiwanese friend Anita brought me and Lina on a walk in Taipei city.

The queueing place was next to a main road and not blocked by any building thus when the wind blew, it's very cold! The security guard at the event venue (Linking bookshop) was very kind to let us into the bookshop to sleep (among Jerry's posters, haha!) on the floor. The floor is hard but we were grateful as we are sheltered from the strong winds.

Away from home and our sweet bed, I can't sleep at all... we woke up early and waited eagerly for the number tags to be distributed to us at 10 am.

As 2pm draws near, all of us started lining the road that Jerry would arrive in on a Harley. Unfortunately he hurt his palms in a motor car accident the night before so he arrived in a car instead and posed on a Harley for the media and press to take pictures.

After that he boarded a crane to autograph on a big poster that is hung outside the wall of the building. There was a mini-episode when he got stuck on top and the crane wouldn't come down! After a few minutes' scare he managed to operate the control again and all the fans cheered for him.

We entered the building and bookshop orderly and we (Lina, Irene and myself) were interviewed by AsiaPlus (Dong Feng). We 'told Jerry' that Singapore is waiting for him!

When we went up to Jerry for him to personally stamp on our posters, I was abit dumbfounded starring at his unshaved chin... actually I was waiting for him to finish stamping so that I can pass him our presents! I handed him the book we bought for him (with our picture in it!) and asked him to read it. Jerry gave me a difficult expression, I reckon he must have received loads of books from fans! But I knew that my words went into his ears or else he would have just agreed to everything I said, haha!

As Irene has got alot more posters to stamp she went back into the queue a second time and Jerry recognised her!

Jerry finished stamping all the posters before 5pm and he left for the airport to take a flight to KaoHsiung for a second autograph session at 7pm.
