( Additional information about the practice, including maps and medical links, can be found at my primary website): http://orthodoc.aaos.org/RobertGoldstone This site lists my general availability and variations from that schedule as well as any other important announcements. It is not an advertisement or a solicitation, and is here only for the convenience of anyone who refers patients and/or who might need to know my availability to appear in court or to perform an examination, in addition to any other pertinent information. At the end of the page you will find links to my current CV, our patient “Welcome” form, and our Privacy Policy. All examinations begin with the taking of an
appropriate medical history from the person being examined. That includes filling out a thorough
questionnaire about the injury and general health as well as the marking of a
symptom diagram. There is usually a Spanish-speaking
employee available. Persons to be
examined who cannot communicate satisfactorily in English but who do speak
Spanish, should verify in advance that assistance would be available from my
staff on the day of the appointment.
For all other languages arrangements must be made for a qualified
interpreter. Except for examinations of very limited
portions of the arms or lower legs, the examinee should expect to be asked to
disrobe to his or her undergarments and females will be examined wearing a
gown, open in the back. Examinees
should therefore be advised to come to the office appropriately dressed
(including undergarments), so as to avoid personal embarrassment. NORMAL SCHEDULE: IME
appointments are normally made at no less than half hour intervals for
Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, (see
below for scheduled exceptions). In
order to schedule an IME
we must have something in writing.
Call the office and my staff will fax a request form to be
filled out and returned, after which the appointment can be scheduled
immediately. I
am normally available for COURT at 9:00 AM on Wednesday mornings
and after 11:30 AM on Thursday mornings as well on Thursday afternoons
(unless a specific exception is listed below). DEPOSITIONS
(including video testimony) are to be scheduled at my office, usually
on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, after 5:30 or 6 PM according to that day’s
office schedule. |
