| Welcome to the Dramatic Play Centres site. I created this site as a resource for teachers and parents who would like to offer more than the standard "dolly centre" to their children. Each dramatic play centre can be created at a minimal cost, usually with items commonly found in classrooms, daycares and yes, even your own home. Children use dramatic play to gain a better understanding of their worlds and to develop their social/emotional skills. It is an important part of play and with a variety of "settings" children can really explore their imaginations. Enjoy! |
