What’s New 09-03-09… We have brought “the Chief 2” home for the next to last time. This has been a
long project in the making. We finally have the car painted. It is the same
color as “the Chief 1”. That would be Nissan’s version of sunset burst
metallic. The paint was done by Crosby
Paint and Body. They did a very nice job on the body work and they
slicked the paint out pretty well also. Our next step will be to head back
out to David Bowie Race Cars to get some finish work done. We still need to
get the accelerator pedal put in, we need to get the control arms welded
up, and we need to get scaled. We should be ready for HMP within the next 2
weeks.
