Good evening. It's been awhile since I've done this hasn't it? Oh well it's been the same old thing mostly. Aside from the fact that I now have cable internet. Yes, I am no longer living in the stone age. Hardy har har. Anyway, moe has been having much fun with it, making with the constant downloads and whatnot.
Yet another week of work done. Moe's graduation was on wednesday. That was fun. The reception was horrible though. Hoards of hungry parents and relatives crowding tables and space in general in an already small hallway. It was a nightmare.
Happy belated Canada day to everyone too. The weather outside was a little chilly for fireworks yesterday night. Not that I went to see them. I had work to do, and then dinner with family. Then again, I might be getting too old for that sort of thing, they don't seem quite as interesting as they once did. Oh yes, people came into the store yesterday and today in cosplay. It was odd, mostly because I don't see cosplay in the store that often, and usually only around convention time. To the best of my knowledge there are no conventions in town this weekend, so I don't really know why they dressed up. Maybe they did it for Canada day.
It's almost course enrolment time again. I should really figure out my schedule and all before I have to make last minute crap decisions... guess it's time to go. A pleasant long weekend to peoples living in Canada, and the US.

Yay for semi-frequent updates. I've taken up painting again. Actually it is more like I've felt like messing around with paint. An old painting that was made for an english class was reused in the making of my new painting. Vivi is very enviromentally friendly, most of the time... Aywho, I didn't have the forsight to start out with a plan, which I have now learned can be very useful. So most of the canvas was painted black before I realized that wasn't going to work. Luckily, acrylic paint comes off if you soak it and scrub it off whatever surface you got it on. So now the thing is done and sitting on the floor in the computer room. I don't really know what I'm going to do with it, but the problem will resolve itself later. The process was very relaxing while it lasted.
My family went out for lunch and dinner yesterday. At the same restaurant, with almost the same people there both times. It felt odd. Lunch was interesting. My cousins, moe and I spent the whole thing talking about random things. Moe mentioned to me today that I never seem to have any serious conversations with her. I think it's just because I talk about things she doesn't want to hear about, like school and stuff like that. Anyway, at the end of lunch all the children decided that we should pay, which caused some trouble since most of us forgot to bring cash. -_-; Oi. So my dad ended up lending me and moe money to help pay for lunch which defeated the whole purpose. The adults seemed most amused.
Work tomorrow will be interesting since I have some new jobs to do. So many things to remember >_< *head explodes* There had better not be a line up at the post office. Lines are teh suck. but I gots friday off, which is good. That's about all.

Yay weekend. All manner of interesting things are going on. Just not here...
The past few days have seen me worrying over a whole bunch of stuffs. For instance, classes need to be picked for next year so that I don't find myself with nothing to do. Also my computer is being crazy and refusing to sign me onto anything properly. Then there's work. While it is mostly fun and enjoyable, added responsibilities make me nervous. Weh, so many things...
Anywhos, I finished watching Heat Guy J earlier this week. It was pretty good, though it's not something that I would have picked out on my own to see. The plot was pretty interesting. Haven't got into watching anime much for awhile. Maybe I'll find something else to watch soon. I still haven't finished watching Haibane yet.
On another note, tape dispensers hate me. That or I'm clumsy, but how likely it that? :P That is about all for now, have a pleasant weekend.

Good evening. Time again for another instalment of "The Boring life of lily". Not much has happened in ten days really, but I'm bored. So here I am filling up space with random junk and here you are reading it.
Watched "The Princess Bride" on television again yesterday. Yay for sappy love stories. Followed that up withsome sketching and stuff. Unfortunatly, since I can't draw for crud it didn't turn out anything like I intended it to. le sigh. Expression eludes my drawing completely, or they end up looking horribly deranged. Curses and whatnot.
I've been paranoid all this week that I actually had work and just forgot to show up. That would be most terrible, but I got the new schedule today. I get to work more, yay. But James wants me to go visit him soon, which means I'll need to take some time off next month. Which I hope I can do, since there is another new girl at the store apparently, and I will have to spend some time getting aquainted with her. Much fun in the days ahead.
Moe's new computer is spiffy. It's all new and fast and not crappy, and sometimes I'm almost jealous. But then it does strange things, like turning itself off, and then I'm not so jealous. And I've run out of things to say, so I'll leave this cute plush cow here to entertain you *puts plushie on the table and wanders off*

Hello again. Felt like updating random stuff today. Much has happened since I last bothered to sign on to this thing.
Last weekend was Anime North weekend. I spent the whole weekend working but it was mostly alot of fun. It is so much busier on weekends at the store, or maybe it was just because it was because of the convention. Anywhos, it got kinda hectic at times. A few people also visited in cosplay, which was kinda cool. There were also a few discontented customers to deal with. Overall it was a very enlightening experience.
My dad had his birthday last wednesday. Moe and I got him a cake after she came home from school. Being the silly person I am, I decided to buy his cake from the furthest possible bakery that I knew of. Good thing he said he liked it, or the whole trip would have been completely unnecessary. It was a yummy strawberry chocolate mousse cake. ^_^
Took grandma to get her hair done on friday. SO while she was at the salon, I wandered over to the store to volunteer some. Joanne and Venus were working. I haven't seen them in awhile so it was fun. Had to deal with an angry customer. The joys of being in retail. Apparently the trick to dealing with customers like that is to be extremly polite. Seems like a sound idea to me.
Next week sounds like it will be filled with non-stop fun. Sound be exciting. Well that's about all, not that I have many readers, but meh.

Hello lovelies. Thought I had work today. Turns out I didn't, Hardy har har. So I went shopping with my dad instead. That was fun. I think he wants me to learn how to ride a bike. Sure it'd be more convenient, but meh. Moe's learned already, so only my cousin and I are left. At least I'm not alone. What's so important about knowing how to bike anyway?
Yesterday I went to yorkdale with the family. Well actually most of the time there was spent wandering around with my grandma while my dad and moe raced off to find more entertaining things to do. We went to stare at all the pretty clothes. Apparently I have a knack for picking expensive clothes. That and we were in the more expensive shops. Curse you Banana Republic, why can't your skirts be less than $150? Also saw a nice one at Tommy for only $75. Not sure if that constitutes as an "only" but seeing as how most of the other clothes I was looking at earlier cost more, I suppose it's all relative. Ended up going to HMV and buying CDs in the end. Yes, I do buy my music. Anywho, vivi is now the proud owner of a copy of Feist's CD "Let it die". So mellow and soothing. Oh and I also got the Blink 182 CD while I was at it. Would have gotten My Chemical Romance too, but I thought that was enough for one day. That and the only song I really like/know on it is Helena.
Got a few more graphic novels last week at work. I bought Tsubasa and The Tarot Cafe. Oi with getting caught up in longer series. Then again I shouldn't complain. I'm not reading one of the exteremly long ones like Naruto or One Piece or Bleach. ^_^ On another note, we got another shipment of stuff last week. We have Gothic Lolita outfits at the store. If they weren't so freaking expensive I might have considered getting them. THen again, I'd have nowhere to wear them to. It's not like there are other people around here that dress like that. Well, not that I know of anyway. Still, they are very pretty. Maybe I'll make my own one day. Assuming of couse that I bother learning how to sew : P
Vivi's taken up sketching again. Sure the chances for improvement are slim, but every once in awhile a decent idea presents itself and must be put to paper. So time to go before it floats off again. Hope you all are having a nice long weekend. Assuming of course that you get Victoria's Day off. Anywho, cya.

5-15-05
It has been a long week. Worked last monday, wednesday and thursday. Work wasn't terribly eventful, but it was enjoyable. Some silly person bought twelve graphic novels at once. That was about the highlight of my week. Anime north is coming soon. I don't think I'll be going, but it sounds interesting.
Took grandma to the doctor on tuesday, and went out for dim sum with her afterwards. Silly me thought that somehow the two of us would be able to finish more than 4 dishes. vivi will never learn. Then went to the dentist with her on friday. Strange how my grandma tries to bargain the prices of almost everything. But it worked, so all the better for her.
Went out for lunch again today with family. There was a lengthy discussion about where I should park on tuesday, since I don't feel like driving myself all the way downtown. It's nice to know that people care. There was shopping to be done afterwards, and then I can home and read. I seem to be doing alot of that lately, but that's probably a good thing. I've also been stealing moe's psp alot, though I don't think she minds much.
I think there were more things that I wanted to say. Things that aren't trivial. But since I can't remember, I suppose I'll have to save it for some other day.

5-6-05
I'm free! Free I tell you! *runs around the room* This is such a relief, and it wasn't nearly as difficult as I pictured it to be. I hope I did well.
It felt odd to leave home so late today. But I got there on time, and with time to spare :D It was kinda odd though to write in the same room as a math exam or whatever it was. Oh well it's over *frolic*
Went to get food for moe after my exam. Sure it was kinda cold by the time I got home, but it's the thought that counts right? Anywho, being the silly person I am I thought Bay station would be a closer walk than St. George from the place on Bloor. I was wrong. Thus began my crazy adventure to Bay station. I walked to Bay and Bloor which turned out to be farther than I thought it was. Then I wandered into the Manulife centre or something. After that I wandered around the PATH trying to find my way to the subway. I got it right on the first try :D Usually I end up getting lost down there and having to double back. Anywhos, I went home had yummies and now I'm here. Sounds like fun doesn't it?

5-01-05
Happy May day everyone. Well everyone who is a pagan anyways. Today was yet another average sunday I guess. Did chores, went out for dim sum with family and all that usual junk. It was kinda fun...much interesting conversation at lunch.
Daddy brought white roses home this morning. Since I am the unofficial florist of the house I got the honour of arranging them. African roses (name on the package) have more thorns than most of the roses I've ever seen. Therefore there was much poking and pain involved in the handling of said flowers. But at least they look pretty and that's all that matters.
I also had cake today in the afternoon. It's been forever since I've had store bought cake. Mmm icing and fruits and stuffs *drool* So tempting to eat the whole thing >_> Must...resist...sweet...baked goodness...
On another note studying for that scientific terminology exam is harder than I thought. My head will soon explode. That is all.

4-27-05
Why ello ello. A long week so far. First week of exams for me it was. Many important lessons have been learnt. For instance, did you know that the exam that you study the most for will invariably turn out to be the one that seems the hardest and probably least well done? I didn't, till I wrote my classics exam. Studied so hard for that darn thing too, and it was only four pages. What kind of crappy exam is that? On the other hand that linguistics exam, now there was an exam. Nineteen pages of challenging goodness. I hope I didn't mess that one up... -_-; Funny thing is I kinda found it less stressful than my classics exam >_<
Wrote another exam today. One of those long english dealies. Good news is that I kinda knew what I was talking about (no studying required ^_~ ) The bad news is vivi hasn't learned proper time management. Oh well, got all the parts done, which is what really counts right? *prays*
So I have work tomorrow and then another week of exams. Soon I will be free, FREE I tell you! Until then I suppose I should go study some more or something...yea....*poof*

4-20-05
Under a week till my first exam. Steph made me all paranoid that I read the schedule wrong. That would really suck if I did. *sigh* I've double checked at least 3 times already, but still...
It's James' birthday today. Happy birthday love. I hope it was a good one. *hugs*
My birthday is coming soon too. Too bad I'll still be writting exams when it rolls around. Oh well, not like I planned to celebrate. Watch me forget to update that thingy on the side too. Let's all pretend that I don't age.
This week has been rather uneventful for me personally. I've actually studied for my exams some, but I needed a break from all that ancient literature. Work yesterday was very long. Spent a few hours helping to reorganize stuff. My we have alot of stuffs, well most of it was really boxes...and it was so warm yesterday, I thought I would melt in that room. But warm weather is a good thing and vivi shouldn't complain. I would normally say summer can't get here fast enough, but with exams coming I wish I had more time...

4-11-05
The first day of my break from school. I am SO bored!! Sure studying would probably be a good idea. There have been a few books that I didn't get around to reading...and stuff the needs memorizing...but honestly how many people actually study weeks in advance? Anyone? Nope didn't think so.
So the TTC isn't on strike, for which I am infinately grateful. If they did, getting downtown would be a pain in the arse. I drove moe to school this morning, and the drive home was horrible. Well both ways were horrible, but for some reason there were a ton of people going to the highway, which happened to be on my way home, so it took forever. I feel so sorry for people who have to drive during rush hour.
Went over to Jeff's house yesterday night to play mj. It's been forever snce the last time i've played, and I forgot alot of the rules. I ended up winning by 176 ^_^ That was fun.

4-9-05
Good afternoon lovely people. It's a wonderful day outside, what with the sunshine and happiness or whatever. It's been a very busy week for vivi, but it s finally over. I actually managed to resist signing online for a few days. But as it turns out I missed a few important emails that way.
Anywhos I went out for lunch with my uncle on wednesday, and he drove me to school too, which was swell of him. The place we went to didn't have good wantons thoough. We also went to go visit mommy before we went downtown. It's been awhile. Thursday was work day. It went alright. Yesterday was my last day of classes. I was so happy to get out of there. Latin was pretty rushed since he still had a bunch of stuff to cover, but he did give us all candy at the end ^_^. Then at around 7:30 I went out with Cece, Bonnie, Steph, Wendy, and Steph's friend Agnes for dinner. We went for all you can eat Japanese food. They had some really good stuff on the menu, and we ended up ordering alot. We ended up staying there for around 2 hours, and definately ate our monies worth. After dinner we wandered around for a bit before everyone had to go home. It was pretty late by the time I got home, but it was fun. vivi ended up staying up till the wee hours of the morning. Surprisingly I'm not really tired, and I woke up at 9 or something this morning. It might have been earlier but my memory sucks. Went out for lunch with my aunties, grandma and moe. I <3 moe but she really needs to stop asking me to do silly things she can do herself. Silly antisocial moe *huggles moe* Post more later maybe, bye bye for now.

4-6-05(technically)
I meant to post this 2 hours ago but meh. vivi was busy. Anywhos, I hope all you crazy people are honouring your ancestors like you're supposed to. Yesterday was some important chinese festival, which I only observe because of my grandma telling me to. But we did get a nice bunch of roses for the mantle, which is always nice. Now if only the flowers the *I* buy last as long as the ones my dad seems to get from some magical super long-lasting flower shop.
Class went speedily today. Work was surprisingly busy, for a tuesday. I sold a bunch of crud and bought more stuff for moe. Then I went to class where I got my essay back. I suck. Got out an hour early since it was the last class. Met up with Cece and the rest of the Kikiwai crew for crepes. Stayed till late. Fretted about getting home too late. Decided to drive Cece and Bonnie home while I was at it. Ended up going to shoppers to get things. Drove Cece and Bonnie home. Came home and worked of not procrastinating anymore. Gave up and signed online. And so went my day.
  vivi has learned alot today.
1. Pay more attention
2. Soggy crepes taste nasty, always eat before juices seep into food.
3. Warm fruit tastes very strange
and last of all 4. Always carry more than $10 in change wherever.
And now it is time for vivi to go to bed before she gets yelled at/stabbed for staying up too late.

4-2-05
Hello again. Decided not to go another month before posting again. Anywhos, there is only one week left of school. I am slightly making with the panic since I have a ton of stuff to do before it ends. *sigh* I vaguely remember stuff happening last week, but it probably wasn't terribly interesting if I can't remember it now.
As for today. I made KD for me and moe for lunch. I can never again say I have never tried it. vivi must have made it wrong because it tasted funny. So much gross artifical cheese...bleh. That or I put too much butter in.
Guess what? It's getting to be that time of year again. Yes, the yearly angstfest is approaching. This year may prove to be the best one so far. Then again vivi is getting too old for agnst.
Oh one thing that made me happy last week was when I bought the Darkstalkers manga for moe. It's so old and full of the nostalgia. But anywhos, B.B Hood is so cute! She reminds me of BM, with all the stabbings as devious cuteness.
Well, that's about all for now. Except for this quiz of course, because my blog looks so boring with out a crap load of pictures.

Good evening. Happy easter monday! vivi didn't get a day off...but it's all good. I'm not bitter or anything...*sniff* T_T
It was so hard dragging myself out of bed this morning, especially after seeing moe all warm and tucked in. I thought I could get away with staying in bed awhile longer. I was wrong. But I wasn't late by that much, or so I would like to convince myself. Parking at my aunt's place was stupid today. vivi was not a happy girl this morning. All that and I felt pewpie. Anywhoses, all was made slightly better in the end by the fact that it was kinda nice out today, and that I got out of class half an hour early *rejoices*
In other news, I was dragged to church yesterday. Not that I have anything against church, it's just the first time I've been in awhile. Like real mass in a church church, not high school mass in gym. I could have not gone, but I gave into peer pressure. We were mostly going for my grandma anyway...It felt strange, and sorta sacreligious. I swear the holy water burned me on the way out.

3-25-05
Oh my gosh what is this?! An update?! *gaspeth* Many thanks to James for making my pretty new layout.*huggles James* It has been awhile hasnt it? Things have been rather boring for the most part around here. Work and getting buried under school work. I really dont have anything to update with, just thought Id give you all something new to look at. This is assuming of course than anyone reads this
