The Triskelion Imperium

The universe is broken, the world ravaged. In ages past, the creators, the primal forces of the elements, warred with their own children, the Superi. The war won, the creators - the Inferni - were banished to various far-flung regions in the multiverse, where they drift and dream heedless of the mortal devotees who scheme on their behalf.

In later times, the first magicians appeared in the world, and they began their own empire. But the magicians grew complacent and prideful in their own ability and thought to replay the events of the dawn of time and challenge the Superi as the Superi themselves did to the Inferni. This led to the rampage of the first dragons and led one group of magicians to unleash hellish magics against their foes.

The world is now broken. Huge rifts called Darkclaws split the earth asunder, opening gates to the dark caverns under the earth and in some cases to the void in which the Inferni are imprisoned. Horrid creatures of all sorts roam land and sea.

The world needs heroes.
