Demons chase Serenity
Destroy it with their hate
Thoughts become poison
Fears become Fate
Dreams shatter to nightmare
Hope fades to black
Sanity slips into oblivion
Is there any way back?
Then I look at ole Fuzzy
Not a care in the world
Kicked back in his tub
With his whiskers unfurled
And the light finally dawns
The way becomes clear
