| The Philadelphia Youth Dragon Boat Team is one of the premier dragon boat teams in the country. We are a very competitive team that competes in national and international races including US nationals and the World Championships (poland 2003).. In 2001 we won a silver and a bronze medal at the worlds in Philly. In 2002 we won 3 silvers including one in nationals in Oakland California.Our winning continued in 2003 capturing 4 golds and 1 silver including 1st place in the prestigious Honk Kong Dragonboat Festival in New York (where we got to race against youth teams for the first time since nationals). And we finished our season up home with a win in Philly. |
