Buffy Summers
A new character named Dawn is slated for the fifth season. She is supposed to have a wierd power to let dark forces communicate through her. She is going to be played by Michelle Trachtenburg (From Inspector Gadget, or maybe you remember her from Pete & Pete). She will show up at the end of the first episode. Every one will know and remember her as Buffy's sister until the fifth episode. (Buffy's an only child though, right?)
Rumor has it that pop singer Britney Spears, who was supposed to make an apperance on the WB's Dawson's Creek has instead ended up landing a part as a vampire on Buffy.
In the new season Buffy formally requests that Giles become her watcher again. So for a while this means that Giles will be in England to meet with the Watcher's Council.
It was reported that sometime in the near future Amy Madison will finally get transformed back.
According to rumors Drusilla will be returning to Sunnydale soon.
Clare Kramer has been signed on to play Buffy's new nemesis for season 5. It is still unknown if she will be human or not.
Anya will be a series regular next season. Tara will also return. She has a contract for 16 episodes in the new season. Buffy crew says that We will find out Tara's secret (Note: She is not a demon.)
