Predators
Adult salamanders and it's larvae are hunted by snakes, fish, predacious diving beetles, muskrats, crows and much larger mammels such as foxes and bears. 
**The predacious diving beetle is seldomly seen, but it is a very common aquatic beetle.  These beetles are predatory, meaning they eat other creatures that live in their habitat**
