Hello and welcome to our little corner of the Web. This site is devoted to fiction, both slash and het, about the characters and actors involved in Lord of the Rings.
Most of the character slash fic by Aphrodite features the pairing of Boromir and Aragorn. Why? Because they make one damned sexy couple, for one. And they did seem to have oodles of chemistry between them during the film, which just gets Aph's mind working in all kinds of directions. ;) Hopefully you'll enjoy the results of Aph's efforts in her "Fear No More" series.
On the other side of the coin, Athena is very adept with real person slash fics, and has a few offerings with the pairing of Viggo and Orlando, who also seem to have great chemistry together. Some of the stories are sweet, some spicy, and all make for good reading.
So that's the jist of the site. We also encourage submittals to the site. We would love other authors to share their works with us! Like I said, we accept both slash and het.......real person or character based.......and any rating is acceptable, as long as it's done with love and respect for the subjects.
Okay........now for the tedious but unfortunately necessary warnings and disclaimers:
1. This site contains descriptions of graphic sexual situations. Some stories may also contain violence or language. It is not intended to be viewed by anyone under the age of 18. Specific warnings about the content of each story are contained at the start of each fic.
2. Several of the stories are slash fiction. Slash is sexual encounters, either actual or implied, between two or more people of the same gender. (In other words men with men, or women with women.) If such things shock or offend you in any way, do everyone a favor and don't read it. We'll all be better off in the long run.
3. Some of these stories are based on the real actors who worked on the Lord of the Rings films. Once again, the above warning applies. If this idea makes you uncomfortable, don't read those stories. Heed the warnings at the start of each fic.
4. Last, but certainly not least, none of us involved in or affiliated with this site make any claims to Lord of the Rings, the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, or any of the cast and crew of Peter Jackson's wonderful films. These are all works of FICTION, and no one is implying that any of the events or situations depicted in these stories ever actually happened, or ever would happen.
