BEST FRIEND

The bell rings, class is over. The last class of the day. You walk out to greet her. As the two of you say goodbye to your friends, one glares, not at you but at both, what could she possibly have agaist her. You walk her home after all your friends have left on their respective buses. You love being with her just lying there in her arms and talking for hours, and then not being able to find a place to stay because its so late when you leave. You love her more than you knew you could love, she's your bacilia, your princess. But you don't know what to love her as, a friend, or more. And she asks, "Can't you have both?" You agree, she'll be more and still your friend, your best friend. You sit and talk there, your arms wrapped around her when the phone rings. Its her friend, the glaring friend. She goes to the garage to talk, she comes back and falls to the floor. You run over and see her sitting in the corner crying. You ask her what's wrong and it appears her friend is making her choose between you, what a friend huh? You tell her that you don't wantr to break up her friendship and that you can still be friends you just wont see each other as much. You tell her you lover her and nothing will ever change that. And she asks if you'll wait for her, wait fr her friend to get over it. And you reply "of course." You depart difficultly, neither of you wanted to break the others hold. You wave goodbye and whisper sweet dreams and think of her all the way there. What will come tomorrow? You're afraid of life tomorrow. You need to have her tomorrow.

Your Best Friend.
