Dr. Judy Belsky - Phd. - Clinical Psychologist
Judy Belsky, PhD. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Jerusalem. . She is Clinical Supervisor at Lmaan Achai (Community Agency) in Ramat Bet Shemesh. She is facilitator of MASK Jerusalem, a support group for parents of kids at risk.

She is the author of a memoir, Thread of Blue, a poetry manuscript, Abraham and Sultana, and several books for children including the Tova and Esty series.

She has published in many journals including, Jewish Action, Jewish Observer, Jewish Spectator, Hadassah Magazine.

She is currently working on a memoir about her Sephardic childhood. She edits Weaving Words Weaving Worlds, an anthology of new student writing now in its fourth volume. She is an instructor of Creative Writing at Ateret Bnot Yerushalayim. And a frequent workshop leader in creative writing conferences.

Dr. Belsky is married to Rabbi Hillel Belsky, dean of Ateret Bnot Yerushalayim Seminary. They have children and grandchildren in Israel and the US.

She is a visual artist. She works in collage and clay. Her subject is often Jewish women in antiquity.

Her interests in psychotherapy and writing and art converge in the use of imagery as a healing force.
