8/9 - Hike up Half Dome. 8.2 miles up, 8.2 miles down. 14 hours and a world of hurt. What was I thinking?!
Summer - America's Cup boats race for the Il Moro Cup in the bay. On a cold chilly morning, a CSC boat went out to chase the former America's Cup boats that were vying for the Il Moro Cup. It featured 2 US boats, including Oracle, as well as representatives from New Zealand and Italy. Later, we went outside the golden gate to practice our spinnaker runs, but that's another story.

12/22/2002 Just got back from 3 days in San Diego. Although we didn't entirely get away from the rain, we did manage to warm up a little after a raft of chilly weather here in the Bay Area.
