350 ci upgraded to a 383 stroker  ported stock heads low friction rocker arms (Crane arms) headers came on car, cam shaft was upgraded when i bought car and in this pic it had a single plane edelbock manifold and a holley 600  long sice ive put on a tunnel ram weiand 2 390 Holley's and a nasty scoop with the red moving butterfly's and a hood i got for 60$ with ram air built in (but useless cuz the scoop) high performance spark plugs and wires new distributor 1000 amp 900 cold amp battery new radiator new starter new alternator high perf. hei distributor new tranny new kevlar clutch (center force) new water edelbrock water pump i found in my nova's trunk when i bought it,  brand new exhaust system with flo-master 50 series dual all the way stock rear end (posi) with traction bar rear and sway bar front stock  295 70 r15 rear tires with American racing 10 spoke black rims same front tires in pic and a full restoration of body and interior  the onyl thing ;left original is the suspension except for the shocks and the windows cept for the wind shield  and I did all this including cost of the car for slightly over 4 grand  (swap meets rule) sure it sucks up gas like hell but who gives a shit when you leave a honda 3 miles back on the quarter mile track?! sure it weighs 3400 lbs it just mans its safer in a crash! sure it was expensive!  right when you could buy a brand new civic well over 10 grand! basically in 79' the Camaro with the 350 had a measly 175 hp stock when i bought mine it ran but not much else with an out put about 250 with my mods im putting out almost 400 unless more (haven't dyno'd it) and its no sleeper  the only thing better than 3000 gt's thinking there faster than me is the kid who thinks he's faster with a stock 5.0l mustang.....also the car has a line lock.
