Notes |
Originally named the
Miami Valley Tower, this high-rise office building ushered in the
begining of an era that would turn out to be the largest
construction boom that Dayton or any other city in Ohio has ever
witnessed during a 9 year period...building 11 highrise buildings,
10 low-rise office buidlings, 4 renovations, and a community
college campus between 1969-1978. In 1999, a minor renovation was
performed, adding a blue neon light
to the roofline perimeter to enhance
it's appearance at night, along with a lobby renovation and a new
name...40 West 4th Center. |
