The Glorious Mysteries

The Resurrection
Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He is risen, as He said. Come and see the place where the Lord was laid. (Matt. 28:5-6 or Mk. 16:6-8)

The Ascension
And the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God. (Mk. 16:19 or Acts 1:10-11)

The Descent of the Holy Spirit
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty wind coming . . . And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, . . . (Acts 2:1-4)

The Assumption
And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. (Rev. 12:1 or Song of Songs 2:3-6)

The Coronation
Thou art the glory of Jerusalem . . . the honor of our people . . . the hand of the Lord hath strengthened thee, and therefore thou shall be blessed forever . . . (Jdt. 15:10-11 or Luke 1:51-54)
