Home page of Douglas D. Lee, KC5ZQM
Born in Kansas, lived in the Tulsa area most of my life.  Normally I am quiet and studious, but get me started on certain topics and I'll talk your head off.  I do like to eat, and I enjoy most kinds of food; the list of foods I don't like is definietly a lot shorter than the list of foods I do like!  Once in a while I do like to get my nose out of the books and get outside.  I do have a quirky sense of humor, but it sometimes takes a while to show up, except when I'm in an onery mood!
This is me operating one of the HF radios at the Tulsa Repeater Organization's WA5LVT Field Day Station, Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Whiteside Park, 41st and Pittsburgh in Tulsa.
My major interest is the weather.  I'd like to becomea research meteologist, but instead, I have become a ham radio operator (callsign: KC5ZQM), and a certified storm spotter.  I belong to several groups that help me pursue my interests in weather and ham radio: Eastern Oklahoma / Northwestern Arkansas Skywarn Advisory Committee, Tulsa Repeater Organization, Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, the American Radio Relay League, and Oklahoma  Research Balloons.
