I don't know if it is a scam, but it was discovered by many some time ago through http://www.lowestbids.com/ , and it never panned out. I think there was a time frame that they initially had for launching the FISP, but it came and went, and of course, there is still no FISP!

Thank you very much for your board message to us at the .1web network. In regard to questions concerning the forthcoming Internet Service Provider service that we will be launching soon, we offer the following information.

An official launch date has not been set. There are still a number of technical issues that must be resolved to be sure the isp is working properly. We will announce the launch date when all the preparations have been made and tested. We do anticipate, however, that the launch date will be relatively soon.

The ISP is available only in the United States at present. We do anticipate going world wide, however, at this time, it is only available in the US.

We are launching with over 1,100 free dialup numbers in the US. We will be adding more and more as time goes on. If you wish to see which cities we are launching the isp numbers from, please go to http://www.webwideisp.com/ and click on the link in the upper right hand corner. This link will take you to a list of the states where the numbers are located. We will release the dialup numbers when we launch and this will be announced at the time of the launch.

We suggest that you register for the isp on the link provided to you at http://www.webwideisp.com/ just under the "Free Internet Access Forever" sign. We will notify you by email of the impending launch.

The first month of the isp is free. After the first month, the most that you will ever be charged is $6.99. If you shop and make purchases or products and services from vendors located in your area, you can earn web dollars which will be used to credit your isp account. As long as you earn enough web dollars to pay for the isp monthly fee, you will not be charged otherwise. If the web dollars earned is not enough to pay for the entire isp monthly fee, you will be charged the difference, but never more than the $6.99 monthly isp fee. In the coming months, we will be adding millions of businesses to the .1web network with many in your local area. You can view the merchants in your area by going to http://www.webwidemarketplace.com/ and clicking on the appropriate links.

Your comment concerning the business model certainly leads me to believe that you definately know what you are talking about and that you have a vast knowledge of business operations and so am sure that you understand the importance of providing proper funding, making sure all of the technical issues have been resolved, and having a customer base in place prior to launch.

I hope this information will be helpful to you and answer your questions regarding the .1web network ISP.

Best Wishes,

DeWayne Johnson
Operations Manager
