The Movie page has been updated with a list of awards 'Pirates' has won so far.

IMDB and a few other sources have been reporting that the working title of POTC 2 will be:

Pirates of the Caribbean: Treasure of the Lost Abyss

It's out in stores with many happy features, and here's a few more that require a bit more effort to watch:

Pirates Cave Construction: Go to 'Fly on the Set', highlight 'Play All', hit right twice to highlight the skeleton's tooth, hit enter.

Kieth Richards Interview: Go to 'Moonlight Serenade', highlight 'Main Menu', hit down twice to highlight the tooth, hit enter.

Pixel Liberation Front's rendition of a few scenes: Go to 'Below Deck', highlight 'Set Sail', hit left twice to highlight skull, hit enter.

Japanese Trailer: Go to 'Below Deck', go to 'Scene Index', go to 'Next', highlight 'Pirate Ships', hit left to highlight ring, hit enter.

It looks like someone found out about the bloopers, and they were taken down.  Don't worry though, theres less than 10 days until the DVD comes to stores!

Interesting possibility, but for now still a rumor.

EmpireOnline has an article about the confirmation of the writers Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio and director Gore Verbinski.

"...we hear today that Gore Verbinski, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly and Pirates screenwriters Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott are all on aboard for a Pirates sequel."

Movies.com is reporting that PotC 2 will be released sometime in 2005. (Most likely during the summer.)

Boredom kicked in due to lack of news, so there is now a new semi-Halloween themed banner. yay.

Amazon.com lists the UK release date as being December 5th, selling for £22.99.
