My painting is the deep impression from my esoteric journey in the ancient past and searching
through the transcendental sphere of my own being!The essence of my paintings is the light and energy!
It is not the something simple and visible in form. But very apstract, esotheric and invisible.
When the dark has became so deep...that you can not see your own appearance, wait for a
while...try to hear the beat of the life. Rhythm of your own existance! Than, open very slowly
the suitcase from your mental and spiritual searching trough transcendental Sphere of Cosmos.
And you will feel the vibrations of the light and energy of your finding out..., make your spirit...
So might! You will feel that you have the great power to conquer the Absurd!
And as the dark of the ignorance is getting so deep...your toughs will be lighter and mystic.
Biography
Dora Z. Kljajic is the designer of applied graphic by profession.
Dora Z.Kljajic is the painter. She exhibits from 1990.
She comes from the family of painters. Her father Nicola Donic and his brother Boza Donic
were the painters.She learnt the painting with the famous Yugoslav painter Milos Gvozdenovic.
The theory of fine arts with the world famous Yugoslav painter Radenko Misovic.
The form of applied graphic she finished with best marks at the most famous painter and designer
for the applied graphic Tomica Bogdanovic.
She had 15 solo exhibitions, the last one was in " Hyatt Regency Belgrade",and over 40 group
exhibitions in the country.
Dora Z. Kljajic took part at the exhibitions abroad:
-Gallery "Mediatheque du Pontiffroy", international concurs "Paul Varllain" for Ex libris, two drawings on the exhibition, Metz, France
-Mostra international de Minigrvits, international concurs for the small format graphic,
Barcelona, Spain
-International concurs for Ex libris "Maus Ketti", Burmerange, Luxembourg
-"De valigia" /About the suitcase/, the international project by Gianpaolo d'Andrea Moraveci, Italy.
-The travelling exhibition around the Europe by train.
-At this moment exponats are in Deposito bagagli /Museum of the suitcase/ Tovena, Italy Palazzo
-Many art works, oils and drawings of Dora Z. Kljajic are in galleries and private collections in Yugoslavia, Greece, Cyprus, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Canada, Holland and USA.
-Dora Z. Kljajic is the author of many documentary exhibitions. The permanent documentary exhibition
is "The hundred year of the mechanical engineering production". The technical part of the exhibition by Prof. Dr Vladimir Sholaja, Institute for the new technologies, The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Belgrade.
-"The International Association of Friendship", Belgrade. The documentary exhibitions of variety portrays of the different countries and embassies.
-She is also the author of many exhibitions of the fine art and the paintings of many Yugoslav painters.
-Dora Z. Kljajic designed many stands for the fairs in the country and abroad.
The most important works in the field of the applied design:
-Dora Z. Kljajic was the art director and the author of the visual identity of the magazine "Gentlman"
(Printed by NEA "Politika")
-She illustrated and designed many books for the "The Literate youth of Valjevo", Yugoslavia.
Magazine "Brankovina" for literature, the illustrations.
-llustrator and member of the group for publishing the magazine for haiku poetry.
"The Gray Starling", dedicated to the great poet of haiku poetry of Japan, Macuo Basho.
-The design for the national restaurant chart for the national cooking for the "Hyatt Regency Belgrade"
-The catalogues for the exhibitions for the well-known art photographer Branco Pelinovic,
the director of the photography on the 1st channel of TV Belgrade.
-The numerous designs for the books, prospect, placards, calendars, and books … for many associations.
-The complete design of the book "Hilandar" by art photographer Boza Vitas (at this moment in print).
-"DE VALIGIA" (About the suitcase), International travelling exhibition, 1997.
Dora took a part with her conceptual art work in the international project "De valigia"
The suitcase as metaphor! The title of the Dora's artwork was "The magic Chest
(little box) for the clearing the Dark".
-"De valigia" (About the suitcase) is an international project of the Italian artist Gianpaolo
d'Andrea Moraveci (Tovena, Italy) The idea of Gianpaolo d'Andrea Moraveci is to get together and to connect the artists from all over the world! The artists without frontiers...
Many associations co-ordinated this international project. The Cultural Centre Belgrade,
was the main co-ordinator for Yugoslavia.This travelling exhibition of the suitcases was in
the train gallery. The first opening was in Greece (Alexandropolis, Drama, Edessa, Flopina), Yugoslavia (Nis, Belgrade and NoviSad), Hungari Budapest and Szekesfehervar)
and Austria (Wien, Graz and Linz). After the exhibition had finished in the
travelling train trough the Europe, the artworks were situated in The Museum of the suitcase (Deposito Bagagli), Tovena, Italy. There are over the 300 original artworks.
In PALAZZO Piazzoni-Serravile, Vitorio Veneto (near by the Venice), on 9th Jun l999. was opening of the exhibition "De valigia".This September, "De valigia" travels to Cuba.
Dora is also writer. The short stories, art critics, and articles for the magazines in the country
and few articles abroad.
-For The BRAMAN,Indian Travel,Calcutta,India,published and edited by
Mr Amarendra Chacravorty.
-Dora is editor and speaker on the radio program on "Radio Novosti" Beograd (104.4 MHz),
every Thursday in "Cabaret", from 11 p.m . The program is about the exhibitions and other cultural happenings in Belgrade during the week.
