This is my Asheron's Call story. It tells of the begining of my character, Blade Force.

Asheron's Call Story

Learning of the Game
(Real life part of story)

                I first heard about the game from my friend, Chris. After he got it I began playing it at his house for a couple of months. I had decided that i would be different from what I thought most people would do, I created my first character the opposite sex of myself. After I chose female as the gender I ran into another problem, a name. I have never been good at naming characters on any game. Normally I just name them Matt, after me, or go with whatever the default name is. I coun't do either here.
                  I wanted a name that said "Don't mess with me!" All of a sudden, it hit me like a ton of tusker turds. (A tusker is a big evil Monkey in the game for all of you non AC'ers) I chose the name Blade Force. "Blade" because my favorite spell was Whirling Blade. "Force" because it sounded defiant. I then started the game in Blade Force's new home, Yaraq.

Chapter One:

My First Steps
(In-Character now)

            I was out in a field playing with the new dagger I had just bought, when I felt a tingling feeling on the back of my neck. All of a sudden my vision blurred and I felt like I was falling. I would soon come to enjoy this feeling.
             I felt a presence around me that was warm and friendly. I heard a voice in my head.
             "You are ine of the elite chosen by Asheron, the mighty wizard. You will be challenged by many obstacles and monsters. Take care my friend. I will be watching you." This was the first, but not the last time I would her this voice.
              My vision suddenly cleared. I stood in shock as I looked at a strange floating blue stone in front of me. I notice I was standing next to a large empty tower. There were two tents nearby, one had a person in it. I moved closer to him.
              "Where am I?" I asked politely
              He replied, "You are in Yaraq. A small desert town in Dereth." He paused for a moment. "I have many items for sale." My mind was racing to much to even think about buying anything.
              "No thank you." I said and turned out the door.
              As I was leaving the man called out, "You should try going into the Advocate Starter Dungeon. It is the swirling purple energy mass over there."
              I noticed the energy mass that I hadn't seen earlier. I decided to try it. I walked over to it slowly and studied it. Slowly, I inched my hand into it and then I felt the falling sensation again...
