James Yancey Collier
Born 12 June 1809 in Caswell Co NC; died 11 June 1868 in Harrison Co TX, son
of Isabel YANCEY and her second husband, Joseph COLLIER.
|sabel was the daughter of Bartlett Yancey SR and Ann GRAVES. He
married Rebecca WILDER in 1828 Limestone Co AL and they migrated to Texas
before 1840.
This photo was copied from J.Y.'s newspaper obituary and was found in the
vertical files in Harrison Co TX. My best guess is it was taken about 1860.
