I took my son (10) and my hubby. My son has decided that he is the coolest thing and sounds familiar. He kept looking at me funny because I sang along with almost every song. I had to explain that I have all the CDs, and have basically played them since he was born and that is why Hal sounded familiar.

I felt like I was in a private concert. He talked to us between songs like we were good friends and joked around with the audience. Unlike the Big Mtn Concerts which my husband tells me are 5,000-10,000 people. (If Hal plays there I am going to try to go, but you have to walk almost 2 miles up a ski slope -- I have trouble walking, so we'll see.)

Rust colored shirt, with what appeared to be a middle eastern, new age print - unbuttoned to mid chest, untucked, sleeves rolled up to mid forearm. Black pants. couldn't see his feet. Hair is more silver than black, which I think is gorgeous.

He sang for over two hours...sang all his hits, the new ones...a new song for his kids...talked about his kids for awhile..told some jokes. When he finished the concert he bowed. Not just a thank you bow, but hands in praying position to the chest bow (namaste). "I bow to the divine in you." In class we say tot he newbies, "The divine light in me, salutes the divine light in you." Basically the same thing, but to me, it was the perfect ending to the perfect night.

My son was looking forward to meeting him after the show to have him sign the program, but we didn't see him anywhere. He didn't stick around afterwards at all, by the time I got out of the school his bus was gone. Tis ok, he did an awesome job!!
